Start the tour of Reims Champagne with a guided visit of the gothic Reims Cathedral and an orientation tour of the city, a typically French provincial town.
We continue with a guided visit of the Mumm Champagne cellars with champagne tasting.
Lunch is on your own in downtown Reims which has an excellent selection of cafes and bistros offering a typically French setting.
In the afternoon, we drive to Epernay for a guided visit of the Moët and Chandon cellars (or Mercier)* and wine tasting.
From December 29 to January 27, and special events, you will visit Achille Princier cellars (or similar) at Epernay instead of Moet and Chandon (closed).

We cross Paris through the eastern districts and then take the eastern motorway. Half way we make a stop for a break (refreshments not included) and arrive in Reims around 10.00 AM

We leave Epernay at 4.00 PM and return to Paris around 6.30 PM

Our buses will take the « Champagne Tourist Route » , in the heart of champagne country to discover the history and secrets of the king of wines Morning tour of the city of Reims, capital of the Champagne region.
Stopover at Rheims Cathedral for guided tour around this gothic masterpiece, where kings of France were crowned.
This is followed by a visit to one of the world-renowned champagne houses MUMM.
Explanation of harvesting, processing and bottling followed by a free tasting.
Free time for lunch (not included) and city walks.
Early afternoon bus journey through Rheims Mountain regional park to Epernay.

- 80% of the total price will be refunded in case of a cancellation occurring more than 15 days prior
to Tour Date. In case of a cancellation occuring closer to the Tour Date, it is to the Tour Operator's
discretion to issue a refund, which may be partial or complete.
