Travel through Normandy to reach the Pointe du Hoc, well-known for the assault of the heroic U.S. Rangers. Free time to visit.
Then onto the American Cemetery in Colleville, for an emotional visit where 9386 soldiers are resting. In 2007, a new Visitor Center was created to commemorate the operations of June 6th 1944. You will also discover “Omaha Beach” and have time to spend some time there before lunch.
Lunch (drinks included) is served at the “Ferme de la Rançonnière” (13th century) in the village of Crépon.
In the early afternoon, you will stop and see the remains of the Arromanches’ artificial harbor (built by the Allies in less than 15 days).
Finally, you continue your trip along the coast of Normandy with Gold Beach and Juno Beach to see the the remains of the Atlantic Wall before returning to Paris.
