A three-day trip to some of the best places the Normandy region has to offer including Rouen and the beaches at Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo and a tour of the Loire Valley castles.
Your first day will be spent visiting Rouen the D-Day landing beaches and Honfleur. In Rouen once a capital of the Anglo-Norman dynasties and where Joan of Arc was executed you will take a walking tour of the old part of town. Next you will visit Honfleur known for its beautiful old port. Continue on to visit the D-Day landing beaches and the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach during which you will make a stop at Arromanches the heart of the landing beaches.
You will spend day two at Saint-Malo and Mont Saint-Michel of the Brittany region known for having been built as medieval fortifications. Visit the cathedral and Saint-Malo and climb up to the peak of the island at Mont Saint-Michel to see its famous abbey.
Visit the Loire River Valley Castles of Langeais Chenonceau and Chambord which is the largest castle of the valley. In between the tours you will have free time to have lunch in the town of Amboise. Return to Paris at around 9 p.m.
